PROJECT CASE STUDY

A renewed roof membrane over a repaired concrete slab.

Waterseal renewed a deteriorated roof waterproofing system at a Bayswater residence after cracking and age-related coating failure allowed water to enter the space below.

THE CHALLENGE

Cracking and UV deterioration were allowing water ingress.

Cracks in the concrete roof slab and delamination of the ageing, UV-exposed coating were allowing moisture to reach the space below. The failed layers needed to be removed so the concrete defects could be treated before the roof was re-waterproofed.

THE SOLUTION

Concrete repairs followed by a heavy-duty polyurea membrane.

Waterseal removed the existing membrane, repaired the identified slab cracks and applied a new heavy-duty polyurea waterproofing membrane across the prepared roof area.

Project Gallery

Site photography showing existing conditions, preparation, installation and completed detailing.

THE OUTCOME

A repaired substrate with renewed waterproofing protection.

The completed works combined structural crack treatment with a continuous new polyurea membrane, restoring a durable protective layer over the concrete roof slab.
