Cracking in the suspended roof slab and failure of the existing coating were allowing water into the space below. Corroded reinforcement and spalled concrete also required treatment, and the works had to align with pump-room equipment replacement on a very tight turnaround.
Waterseal removed the deteriorated coating, treated corroded reinforcement, repaired spalled and cracked concrete and applied a new heavy-duty waterproofing membrane across the prepared slab.
